Murder of Palestinian in KL

Malaysiakini - Foreign spies involved in murder of Palestinian in KL, Zahid says (extracts):

The two assailants of a Palestinian university lecturer in Kuala Lumpur today are believed to be Caucasians linked to an intelligence organisation of a country, said caretaker deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Zahid, who is also the caretaker home minister, said the police would work with Interpol and Aseanapol to track down the duo immediately. [...]

Zahid was asked to comment on the shooting of the 35-year-old lecturer at about 6am today as he was walking from his condominium to a nearby surau in Jalan Meranti, Setapak, for the dawn prayers.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim disclosed details of the shooting but did not reveal the name of the lecturer. The Palestinian ambassador to Malaysia Anwar H Al Agha, speaking to reporters at the scene, said the dead man was Fadi Al Batsh.

Zahid said a preliminary investigation showed that the lecturer was to have left for Turkey this afternoon to attend an international conference.

He said the lecturer, who was an electrical engineer and an expert at making rockets, had had links with an intelligence organisation of a country and had been active in Islamic NGOs that championed the Palestinian cause.

“The lecturer, a permanent resident of that country, is believed to have become a liability for a country hostile to Palestine,” he said.

The chief suspect is the Israeli Mossad, though kaytee has to say the enemies of Palestinians are not necessarily-automatically Israelis. Saudis, Egyptians and Jordanians dislike them too, in that order as I have shown the countries who are enemies of Palestinians.

Of course the Israelis hate them most as their natural and competing enemies, whilst the Saudis and Jordanians dislike them for their republican nature (Jordanians also for their intrusion and illegal settlement in Jordan), and the Egyptians for their link to the Muslim Brotherhood (of Hassan al-Bana).

Society of the Muslim Brotherhood

Describing the two assailants as Caucasians mean nothing as some Arabs have Caucasian features and even very light if not blond hair. They could be Arabs as well, whilst some Israelis are very swarthy dark and have looks like Arabs.

The assassination seemed to be quiet unprofessional as hails of bullets were peppered on the victim. I am inclined to believe the Mossad would not be that cowboy-ish. However it has to be remembered that Saudi Intelligence works closely and regularly with the Mossad, much as this fact may shocked our local Arab wannabes.

Whatever whoever, it worries the f**ks out of me because the assailants must have been staying in Malaysia for a while to keep the victim under surveillance before murdering him.

If indeed the assailants were Israelis then it makes you wonder how the f**ks did they enter Malaysia. I presume that would have been by false passports.

  1. World of espionage, harbouring enemies, harboouring wanted fugitives, harbouring extremists etc.

Malaysia getting world attention and jeopardising it's own citizens safety just because of politics and religious causes.

Time to think whether it is all worth it getting involved in other's problems when our own backyard is still full of shit and hypocrisies.

    1. bloke had been here for years on end - thus he is either an innocent vis-a-vis terrorism but with family vendetta thus his assassination, or an unknown terrorist working in Malaysia for his brethren in the M-E. His assassination has brought home the endless violent strife of the M-E to Malaysian shore

That he had been working in Malaysia does not make him innocent. These days, people with the appropriate skills and ability can carry out deadly knowledge-work from anywhere in the world.
The murder is certainly serious but there must be a parallel query whether Malaysia is acting as a safe harbour for Palestinians or other Middle Eastern terrorists.

A terrorist who does not hold a gun can be even more dangerous, man for man.

    5. Murder is murder. I am on record of supporting "No Mercy" penalties against murderers.

Just pointing out, not all victims are that innocent. Some live by the sword and die by the sword.

I am very concerned that Malaysia is harbouring terrorists by deliberately turning a blind eye to their activities.

  5. Thailand has friendly relations with Israel, as the Thais take the line that the Middle East quarrels have nothing to do with them.

Many Israeli citizens go there for vacation or "other business".
No big deal on stolen passports and crossing to Malaysia.

Mossad is very good, 1st class , usually very low profile. but they have other intelligence agencies.
And they sometimes carry out gory Show Assassinations to send a message to others.

    3. Singapore is very uncompromising about anyone using their territory as a launching pad for violent activities.

Phillipines, Vietnam , Cambodia and Myanmar do not have large pools of Israeli visitors. Harder for them to enter the country without attracting attention. Such operations usually require backup support teams as well.

    1. Crimes carried out with guns Happen regularly in Malaysia, in case you haven't noticed.

It is a deep irony of the strict gun laws that law-abiding Malaysian citizens are unarmed while any criminal who wants to get hold of a gun can easily do so.
