I mentioned that in a political sense Chong had nastily imputed Guan Eng has not been respectful enough to the Chinese concept of 'Heavens' (Gods).
But in Malaysiakini today, we read of Chong apologises for Guan Eng 'deity' jibe as he realised Penangites have been hurt by his words.
I feel it would be better if he has just apologised to Guan Eng for a bad joke rather than showed his reaction had been to public opinions. Nonetheless, an apology of this nature can be and should be accepted.
To further sweeten his apologies, Chong said, "MCA's Crisis Relief Squad (CRSM), Penang MCA and Youthcare Movement Malaysia are going to help with the flood relief."
And I am glad that Chong saw fit to apologise for what (I had described as his flat and off colour jibe at Guan Eng. 'Tis a healing action that Tony Pua (DAP Selangor Chief) would do well to learn instead of arrogantly dismissing a political opponent (but an erstwhile benefactor) as a 'nobody'.
In short, Chong Sin Woon has been a 'gentleman' while TP has been an @r$eh*le, wakakaka.

Mythologies, yes, but a truth indication of human will power against god/nature only found in the history of the Chinese!
That political green horn's mocking (or teasing) (yr understanding???) Lim Guan Eng as Penang's adulated political 'tokong' not to 'fight' the heavens has NOTHING to do with LGE.
Rather it directly insults the long Chinese tradition of not afraid to go against god/nature - taming the odds to safeguard/suit the community.
He SHOULD indeed apologize to the Chinese M'sians, period!

How sad the writer's sense of propriety has been utterly warped due to his anger at one for his excellent work exposing his beloved Ah Job Gor's crimes.
