Scared Muslims

Non-Muslim maids may influence Muslim children, says mufti

Perak Mufti Harussani Zakaria admits nothing wrong or 'haram' about non-Muslim maids working for Muslim families but supports Immigration Department restriction.

PETALING JAYA: Perak Mufti Harussani Zakaria agrees with the Immigration Department’s move to bar non-Muslim maids from working in Muslim households in an effort to protect their children’s aqidah (faith).

Although he admitted that it was not wrong in Islam, he is worried that children who were being cared for by non-Muslims would adopt practices from other religions.

“In terms of the law, it is not haram (forbidden) and it is not makruh (frowned upon) for Muslims to hire non-Muslim maids,” he told FMT.

Giving an example, he said that maids who have strong Christian backgrounds could “influence Muslim children”.

It seems Muslims are really scared of their own shadows and have no confidence in their own religion.

  1. It needs to be said that this further pandering to religious extremism is occurring under the auspices of the Najis Administration.

  2. What about these hypocrites who preached, and themselves frequented whorehouses serviced by non Muslims. Are they not vulnerable to influence by non Muslims?Maybe these hypocrites should only shiok sendiri when they feel horny?Afterall,no sex is good sex.At least when STD's and HIV's are a concern.

    1. Talk about twisting words!

U r several ranks below kt, the DownUnder wordsmith!

'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure' applies ONLY in case of logical & normal processes. When it comes to paranoiac behaviors, like those exhibited by the Melayu ummat Islam, ALL bets r OFF!

That phrase DOESNT jive, even with the holy book quoted 1000K times.

Pariah! u have a lot to learn before u can write sensibly!
